Celebrating our male residents and staff
We are highlighting some inspirational stories from our male residents to mark International Men’s Day, celebrating men’s positive contribution to their communities.
On 19th November, International Men’s Day (IMD) celebrates the positive value men bring to the world, their families, and communities.
One of the key themes of this year’s IMD is making a positive difference to the wellbeing and lives of men. We are fortunate to have many residents living at an Abbeyfield house or home who have during their lives, and in many cases continue to, improve life for others, give back to their community and take advantage of new opportunities in later life.
We recognise the value of their skills, wisdom, and experience in helping to shape society today for the better. We also have a number of great and dedicated male members of our staff team, who contribute enormously to enhancing our residents’ quality of life.
You can find some of our favourite male resident and staff stories below.
