At Abbeyfield we are on a journey to not only limit the environmental impacts in everything we do today and in the near future, but also achieve net zero carbon by 2050.
We want to ensure our current and future residents are provided with the best possible accommodation that is sustainable whilst continually improving of our environmental performance across our business.
We’ve set our environmental objectives that ensure we are improving the to achieve our own and government targets across our portfolio, some of the highlights are as follows:
- All our properties will be EPC C and above by 2030
- Improve our external environmental for our residents and nature via biodiversity net gain projects
- Consider new and future technologies to reduce the carbon footprint within our homes
- Reduce waste production especially waste to landfill
- Limit environmental impact through sustainable procurement practices
- Be a community focus for environmental good practice
