Case studies
Haven Holidays
During their Christmas event, employees at Haven Holidays raised money and generously donated to Abbeyfield Living Society. This helped to fund a very special day for residents, staff and volunteers at our Amersham care home, Pratt House. A makeshift beach was created, complete with buckets and spades, head-through-the-hole cutouts, deck chairs, giant games and inflatables.
Alice Dunning, Care Home Manager at Pratt House, said, “Our residents are always saying how they wish they could visit the seaside again, so we thought we would bring the beach to them, throw a big party, and let them get as close to the holiday experience as possible in their back yard.”
Tricia, a Pratt House resident, was clearly very impressed with her staycation. She said, “It's just wonderful, so much hard work has gone into this, and we have had a lovely day. I took my shoes off and got down in the sand. Everything is just brilliant.”

Payroll Giving
Payroll Giving, allows employees to donate from their gross income, so the gift will cost them less. Every pound donated will only cost the donor 80p or 60p, depending on the rate of tax paid. Our team can help you set this up.
