This is a very easy and simple way to raise funds for Abbeyfield when you, your family or friends shop online. Register with Give as You Live and Abbeyfield will receive a commission with every online shop. Sign up (for free) on the following website and nominate your charity (Abbeyfield!) to receive commission every time you shop online (including supermarkets, high street shops, travel and train companies). They also offer a price comparison service, ‘Give as you Switch’, for insurance and energy suppliers, with a donation of the saving made given to your nominated charity.

Savoo helps you get the best deals for your shopping whilst raising funds for your nominated charity at the same time (at no extra cost to you). If you’re not much of a shopper, use the Savoo search engine, just as you would your usual one, and raise 1p for Abbeyfield with every search. Riviera Travel are a partner of Abbeyfield nationwide. They donate a generous 10% of the value of holidays booked through them to Abbeyfield; the money can be restricted to your house if you prefer, just let the Fundraising team know when you have paid. easyfundraising
easyfundraising is an online charity fundraising shopping site – you register and choose a charity to support, then shop online with all your favourite retailers as usual; a percentage of the money spent will be donated to the charity (at no extra cost to you). (https://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/)
eBay for Charity
Abbeyfield is registered with EBay and can receive donations from the following ways:
Sell for a Cause - this is an option which allows you to choose to donate a portion of the selling price of an item to your chosen charity.
- First select your chosen charity - when you are listing an item for sale, select the ‘donate a portion to charity’ option, add your charity, then choose the amount you wish to donate. If you donate more than 10% your item will receive an attention-grabbing charity ribbon.
- List and sell, pack and ship the item as usual.
- Within a few weeks the charity will receive the donation, via the PayPal Giving Fund, and you will receive a donation receipt. You will also receive a credit for the fees, equal to the percentage that you donated to charity e.g. if you donate 50% to charity, 50% of the fees will be reimbursed to your account.

Favourite a Charity – when you are buying an item on eBay you have the choice to make a donation to your chosen charity at the checkout. Simply select your ‘Favourite’ and this option will available every time you shop.
Donate Now – this button allows you to donate directly to a charity. Simply search for the charity through the Charity Search and choose ’donate now’. You can also donate at anytime through PayPal Giving Fund.
