Our 13 unfurnished en-suite bedsits offer a comfortable and private space to call your own. Personalise your room with your favourite items of furniture, photos and trinkets, and enjoy the benefits of spacious interiors and high ceilings. Each en-suite room features a walk-in shower, toilet, and wash basin for your convenience. Each floor has it's own kitchenette with  all the necessary appliances, so you can entertain guests and enjoy life at your own pace. At Carnarvon House, we believe in creating a sense of community. Join other residents in our communal areas for friendly games, or simply enjoying the company of others. Our beautiful garden provides a peaceful outdoor space for relaxation and gardening enthusiasts.

Your safety and wellbeing are our top priority. Carnarvon House offers 24-hour monitoring, providing you with peace of mind. Our dedicated staff are available from 9am-6pm Monday to Saturday and 8am-2pm on Sundays to assist with your needs.

I joined Abbeyfield in 2013 as a General Assistant, shortly after I took on the role as a Housekeeper and then Senior House Manager in 2017. I support four houses at Abbeyfield which I really enjoy as I have a lot of residents that I can spend time with.

Yvonne joined Abbeyfield to reconnect with her passion for food. She is a trained chef and has a real talent when it comes to day-to-day food, hosting events and creating new recipes. Yvonne is always available when it comes to helping others and has a positive relationship with all involved at Carnarvon House.

Hannah joined Abbeyfield as a General Assistant in 2016. With her bubbly personality and passion for anything animal related she soon bonded with residents and relatives. Having four boys at home, she relishes the company of the residents and sharing stories of her home life, numerous hobbies and adventurous holidays.

Joseph joined Abbeyfield in 2015 as a volunteer. He soon progressed and showed that he had all of the attributes needed to work with older people. Joseph has a compassionate relationship with the residents, showing empathy and offering support on a daily basis. There is always singing and dancing when Joseph is around.
