Our 10 en-suite rooms and 2 flats provide comfortable living spaces, each equipped with convenient kitchen facilities. Shared communal bathrooms ensure everything you need is close at hand.  A dedicated team is available to offer assistance when needed, promoting your independence with a helping hand.

Easy day trips to Keswick and Windermere, popular tourist destinations with charming shops and attractions, are a short bus journey away. The bustling Cockermouth town centre, with its shops, cafes, and church, is all within walking distance. The nearby bus stop offers convenient connections to Carlisle and Workington, popular shopping destinations, if you wish to venture further afield.

We understand the joy of having a pet, that's why Abbeyfield House allows well-behaved animals to help enrich the lives of our residents. Pamper yourself with in-house visits from a hairdresser, chiropodist, and beautician.

Phoenix is the youngest member of staff at Abbeyfield House. Our residents really appreciate the meals that Phoenix prepares and her baking is very much enjoyed by all the residents. Phoenix is an asset to the house.
